Badgers set to take on K-state

The Badgers rolled past Belmont Thursday night to advance to the third round of the NCAA tournament.  They will face Kansas State in the round of 32 Saturday night. The Badgers will be looking to avoid another disappointing end in March and Kansas State will be vying for the upset.  Both teams are solid, and it should be a very competitive game.

These two teams are so similar it is really scary. Each team has 16 wins at home, and five on the road.  The leading scorers for their teams both average 22 points per game.

Penn State defeated the Indiana Hoosiers on Wednesday night to advance to the Big Ten quarterfinals.  The Nittany Lions will face the Badgers of Wisconsin later tonight.

Penn State will make the Big Dance if they can pull off the upset later tonight, I’m convinced of this.  They have beaten three top twenty teams this season, including a split of the season series against the Badgers.
